The Story

Named by Blair Haynes, after plantswoman Estella Morgan, this petite flowering maple of only 3ft in height and 5ft in width, spreads to a dense spiller or groundcover, with megapotamicum like pointed leaves and warm-gold flower. Ideal for espalier, container, or groundcover, and hardy to at least 20, F or briefly upper teens, USDA zone 8b.  Even moisture, dappled shade is best.
