The Story
Tall, striking evergreen, to 8ft x 6ft eventually larger, easily kept to this size by pruning as a caning shrub. Elegant compound leaves are blue-green, radiating from the stem in whorls. Late fall, early winter fragrant yellow flowers are abundant in upstanding inflorescences, followed by blue-black fruit. Drought tolerant once established but should be watered for a season or two. Frost hardy in USDA zone 7.
