Summer flowers, white and honey-scented, are produced in frilly clusters followed by small, winged fruit. Native to mountainous regions of Victoria and New South Wales in Australia, these plants enjoy light shade to full shade with good drainage and plentiful summer water. Avoid fertilizer as with all proteaceous plants. Sadly not for the humid Southeast. Frost hardy in lower USDA zone 8.
