A very sweet fig with impressive cold and heat tolerance. Light brown to violet fruit and flavorful bright red flesh late August into September. 10 to 15 ft. x 6 - 8 ft. across, easily smaller with pruning directly following fruiting. Excellent eaten fresh or dried due to high sugar content. Best best in full sun to light shade and rich well drained soil. Best suited to long-warm growing season for abundant fruit over cool maritime climates.Tolerant of periodic drought when established. USDA zone 6.
